PROTECH S.A, a company whose main activity is the exploitation of minerals and the production of their derivatives, especially magnesium silicate. Serpentinite rock is the main raw material used, it is a mineral composed mainly of magnesium silicate and of which there is a deposit located in the Municipality of Heliconia, Antioquia, 26 kilometers from Itagüí, southwest of the Aburrá valley.
