Our history

In Colombia, Etex was born under the name Colombit in 1965 from the hand of a group of Caldenses businessmen who had the vision of developing the Colombian construction sector with the best existing practices to date in the most developed countries. In 2009, the Gyplac plant for gypsum and formulated systems was inaugurated in Cartagena to complement the broader portfolio of dry construction in Colombia.
