Quinoa is a food of high biological value due to the quantity and quality of its amino acids, it is a good source of protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Naturally gluten free, of national origin, white, pearly and clean. It is an ancestral grain of Andean origin, the UN declared 2013 as the international year of quinoa in recognition of its high nutritional value, in favor of its conservation and to promote its crops and consumption. It is consumed cooked, in salads, hamburgers, cakes, meatballs and in soup, just like any other grain.
