Our history

The FCV Healthcare Ecosystem, among other units, has two hospitals internationally accredited by the Joint Commission International: Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia – FCV and Hospital Internacional de Colombia – HIC. The first one, also called Cardiovascular Institute, is specialized in treating patients with heart diseases, and the second one is specialized in treating patients with all type of diseases different from the cardiovascular ones. It has five Specialized Institutes in: Cardiology, Cancer, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Neurology and Women's Care. Also seven Specialized Centers in: Pediatrics; Nephrology and Urology, Respiratory Health Care, Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Pain Relief and Palliative Care Clinic, Digestive Health Care and Integrative Medicine.
