Our history
At Coro Cora we aim to support Colombian artisans by blending their wonderful cultural legacy with modern design. We work closely with weaving cooperatives around Colombia to create beautiful and versatile accessories that celebrate the vibrancy of Colombia.
We strongly believe in sustainable and slow consumption and we aim to create a lasting social change in the communities we collaborate with. We work mainly with women artisans and our project goal is to empower them and ensure they receive a sustainable income for them and their families. All of our products are also 100% handmade, using mostly natural fibers with minimal ecological footprint.
Our portfolio comprises many different products and materials such as Wayuu bags, Iraca baskets, placemats & hats, Fique straw bags, Tetera straw baskets, among others. With each product, we want to bring the magic of Colombia to your everyday life, carrying decades of tradition, culture and history handwoven in its stitches.
