Our history
In 1914 two young entrepreneurial Cartagena of the time, both descendants of French immigrants, Don Daniel Lemaître Tono and his first cousin Don Henrique Lecompte Lemaître, joined forces to build an industrial house aimed at the manufacture of soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics, a company that stood out as a successful and innovative company, being pioneers in the manufacture of soaps in the country. In the 80s the Lemaître Sulfur Soap was born for the deep cleansing of the skin, and the Lemaître Glycerin Soap recognized for its natural and handmade manufacture, level of moisture, transparency and its exclusive fragrances. It has been the inspiration of the 4th generation of the family to give a rebirth to the Lemaítre brand. Today, this family legacy continues with the development of new products such as the liquid version of Glycerin Soap, Shower Gels and Creams, following as always the highest quality standards.
