Quicklime
Quicklime is the product obtained from the calcination of limestone by heating it between 900 and 1000 ° C, a process where the CaCO3 present in the limestone is decomposed into CaO (quicklime) and CO2. The quicklime produced is composed of calcium oxide (CaO) as an active component and some traces of impurities.
