We are inspired by a caravan trip in which our
Estivo girl travels freely through wonderful
landscapes, where the Paisleys or Kashmir type
fabric present in the Print of this collection once
originated. This drop-shaped design has its origin
in ancient Babylon, where it represented the date
palm bud or “tree of life” which provided food,
drink, fibers for dressing and other basic
necessities. Then continues its journey to Persia
and India where the design became popular.
Marveled by its organic and repetitive forms,
continues the quest to Scotland, where it was
mass produced in its looms, that’s where it took
its name from in English, Paisleys, because of the
town where it was Cherished the most after that,
the journey takes place all around the world,
where these fabrics and prints are used with
innovation and creativity to surprise us every
time. Their organic forms transmit us an air of
sophistication and peace.
