Hydrangea commonly known as hydrangeas, native to southern and eastern Asia, is a plant that is mostly shrubs which can vary in size and whose leaf may be deciduous or evergreen; these are grouped in bouquets at the end of the stems and each individual flower of hydrangea is relatively small; however, the color display is enhanced by a circle of modified bracts around each flower so the flowers may be pink, white, or blue, depending in part on the pH of the soil.
Hydrangea is an ornamental plant very popular for its huge flower heads.
This shrub needs a moist, well drained soil; in case of lack of water the flowers will wither faster.
