MCO-R is an organic composite material with a laminar structure consisting of a 100% solid polyamide epoxy coating in two components in separate containers: component A. based on epoxy resin and active pigments, and component B, a polyamide catalyst. The reinforcement that forms the composite material is of organic fiber type with a special cross-linking, which is applied in alternating layers and thicknesses of 5 to 10 mm are obtained. The composite material has excellent mechanical strength, high resistance to cathode detachment, low water permeability, high adhesion on metal substrates, high hardness, good wear resistance. It has good weather resistance, resistant to weak acids, alkaline salts, petroleum derivatives, aromatic solvents and temperatures up to 120 °C dry and 90 °C in moisture.
