Palm trees, much more than beautiful trees
adorning the beaches, have an amazing
history full of meanings. In ancient times, palm
trees appeared in Egyptian iconography,
drawing attention for its height, slender trunk,
its top with large leaves and resistance to high
temperatures, therefore, it related to
concepts of durability, rebirth and heaven,
since it was considered that its top formed the
celestial vault.
The palm was related to the god of sun, since
the arrangement of its branches and the trunk
height reminds us the rays of the star and the
majesty of this god who was the axis of the
cosmos.
More than trees, they are divine beings,
formidable, which dance to the rhythm of the
wind and the waves.
