Elongated, somewhat curved and can weigh 200 to 400 or more each unit, its skin is thick, greenish in color and its pulp white.
The pulp has a floury consistency and its flavor, unlike other bananas, is not sweet as it contains hardly any simple carbohydrates or sugars.
It is a fruit with a high content of complex carbohydrates (starch), so it is not suitable for consumption raw. It is very rich in minerals such as potassium and magnesium, it hardly contains sodium and it also provides interesting amounts of B vitamins, although most of them are lost during cooking.
